About ISO Certification

ISO Certification is offered to the organization if it has developed and practices a system as per the ISO standards that it intends to opt for Certification. Generally, this verification or Audit is conducted by third-party certification agencies who in turn are controlled and Accredited by Accreditation Bodies.

To verify the effectiveness of the implementation of the systems in the organization against the International Standard, Audits are planned and auditors visit the organization to conduct the preliminary stage 1 audit and the detailed Stage2 Certification Audit.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic as per the directions of the JAS-ANZ accreditation body and as per the guidelines of IAF MD-11, EAS has developed a robust remote audit and it replaces the audit visit to be made by the auditors to the client place.

ISO Certification for companies is now audited remotely online and the Certification process is completed. This is the first time in EAS where ISO Certification for companies is audited online and certification issued from EAS.

How Online Certification is carried out:

Receipt of Application and Related Documents:

Clients can make an online application form through the EAS website. EAS reviews the application and conducts video conferencing to understand the application and other requirements of the client.

Once the commercials are agreed upon, an online contract is signed between EAS and the client.

EAS reviews the application based on the number of employees, sites, scope, complexity, remote audit risks, process coverage risk, etc.,

An audit plan is derived as per ISO 17021-1 and IAF MD-11 and communicated to the client with date and auditors etc.,

After taking concurrence with the client on the date and time, auditors, and method of the audit EAS convenes the audit remotely through video conferencing software with the client.

Online ISO Certification remote audit software requirements:

1) A high-speed Internet connection. 2) A Flash/HTML5 compatible browser. 3) A headset with microphone

How Audit requirements are fulfilled:

Once the time slot starts, a video call with an auditor is made and the auditing begins.

Auditor convenes the opening meeting with the client through video and will also mark the participants for attending. As per the audit plan, the auditor proceeds with each Auditee in the video discussion, and a site tour is also conducted through video, where the auditee takes the camera and walks around the organization to apprize the various activities of the organization and to show the resources and methods.

Auditors who choose to sample any details will be requested to auditee to either picture or video of the document or facility. After verifying the facts auditor either takes a copy of the evidence or takes notes of it.

At the end of the audit, the auditor convenes the closing meeting with the audit client and the audit findings are declared to them. Any Non-conformances will be collected and verified.

If a subsequent follow-up audit is required, EAS will convene one more video audit to verify the implementation of corrective actions.

If everything is as per the rule and regulations of ISO Company Certification, then certification will be issued to your company within 2 days of the audit.

Training to auditors and Certification Staff

EAS has provided detailed training about handling the remote audit, the method of picking samples, ways to collaborate and check the evidence through a remote audit, and handling electronic gadgets during remote audits.

Confidentiality and no Conflict of Interest

EAS adopts strict procedures to maintain the confidentiality of the client data which is shared through mail or during the video audit. This covers all the auditors and audit experts participating in the audit, their laptops, e-mails, and any other storage devices used to handle any client information prior to the audit, during the audit, and after the audit. This includes the procedure for discarding the information from the communication and storage devices.
