OUR ACCREDITATION

Accreditation is an endorsement of a conformity assessment body’s (CAB’s) competence, credibility, independence and integrity in carrying out its conformity assessment activities.
EAS ACCREDITATION
EAS is accredited with JAS-ANZ for EMS and QMS schemes.
JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation of Australia and New Zealand), is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in the fields of certification and inspection.

QUALITY POLICY

EAS Pvt. Ltd. is an independent Certification Body, which aims to provide an impartial, realistic and practical approach to its client´s certification requirements.
It is the AIM of EAS to
Operate a management system in compliance with the requirements of ISO17021.
Meet any specific requirements of the IAF
Carryout business activities in a non-discriminatory manner.

STATEMENT OF IMPARTIALITY

EAS Top Management is committed towards impartiality in management system certification being done for its entire range of certification activities.

EAS understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its management system certification activities manages conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity of its management system certification activities.

EAS has identified, analyzed and documented the possibilities for conflict of interests arising from provision of certification including any conflicts arising from its relationships.

APPEALS, COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

If Client has appeals, complaints and disputes relating to Certification Audit and/or certification process, Client shall submit the appeals, complaints and disputes in writing to EAS.

EAS shall handle the appeals, complaints and disputes, filed by Client, in accordance with EAS defined procedure EAS-MSP-04 . The result shall be provided to Client in writing.

“All unsettled disputes, if any and if necessary, shall be settled in a court of Law within the jurisdiction of the city of Chennai, Tamilnadu, India”

RULES ON LOGO USAGE

All certificates issued by EAS remain the property of EAS and must be returned when requested.

Certificate holders must ensure that no incorrect references to EAS certification system or misleading use of certificates or marks occur.

EAS Registered Companies Logo is granted under licence to those client companies who have obtained certification by EAS after successful assessment to the applicable standard.

Where the EAS Registration Certificate has been issued under JAS ANZ, Accreditation Body logo is too used in combination with the EAS Registered companies logo, as applicable.

POLICY ON TRANSITION

ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 is published by ISO (International Organization for standardization).
As per the IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation of Australia and New Zealand), the transition time for the update is till September 2018.
All existing certified clients of EAS can upgrade their QMS scheme to the latest version at any time during this period.
